Morris House

Morris House occupies a prime corner position at 120 Exhibition Street, right in the beating heart of Melbourne's CBD. Spanning four distinct levels, it fuses the city's love of the arts, great food and wine, and rooftop socialising into one vibrant venue — making it one of the most dynamic and versatile event spaces in Melbourne. The journey begins in the ground-floor Dining Room, where a seasonal, produce-driven menu centres around share-friendly plates designed for convivial gatherings. By day, the space is bright and welcoming; by night, it transforms into an atmospheric setting for private dining and intimate celebrations. Level One hosts a lively bar and terrace, complete with comfortable booth seating, a sunny outdoor balcony overlooking the busy city streets, and a live music stage that comes alive on weekends. Available for exclusive hire for up to 200 guests standing or 26 seated, this space is ideal for cocktail parties, corporate networking events and social celebrations that call for energy and atmosphere. The Rooftop is Morris House's crowning jewel — a leafy, open-air oasis with glass balustrades, retractable awnings and sweeping views across Melbourne's skyline. Accommodating up to 180 guests exclusively, it is the perfect all-weather setting for sunset cocktail events, product launches and stylish celebrations. Nostalgic signature cocktails and share-friendly plates complete the experience. Below ground, the NYC-inspired Basement Comedy Club offers a truly unique event proposition, with exposed brick walls, a dedicated stage, private bar and capacity for up to 150 guests theatre-style. For large-scale occasions, the entire venue can be booked exclusively for up to 730 guests across all four levels. Morris House delivers something for every occasion — from intimate dinners to full-venue takeovers — all in one of Melbourne's most exciting CBD locations.
